With a temperature change from Monday’s mid/high 30’s to Tuesday’s low 20 C it was time to break out the winter woollies (just weeks before summer) for a BBQ/Picnic tea at Stuart Park. 13 members and 1 visitor braved the cold, windy conditions for fellowship, fun and some photo opportunities. Those of you who use the NIK Plugins for Lightroom and Photoshop will be aware that Google, in their wisdom, decided to cease supporting the software a few months ago.
There has been a lot of background activity, plus a petition on change.org, and just this week an announcement has been made by DXO, the French developers of DXO optics and other photographic software, that they had purchased the NIK software from Google and planned to continue development and support of the plugins.
