About Us

Wollongong Camera Club meets at 7.30 pm on Tuesdays from February to November.

1st Tuesday of the month: Movie Makers

2nd Tuesday of the month: Photo Group Guest Speakers

4th Tuesday of the month: Photo Competition

Meetings are at Figtree Heights Public School, Cnr St George Ave and Lewis Dr, Figtree*.

The Management Committee meet on Zoom at 7:00pm on the 3rd Monday of the Month.

We also hold monthly Field Trips. See our calendar for more information.

*During COVID lockdowns, meetings are held via Zoom.

MOVIE MAKER’s MEETING – Tue 2nd July, 2019 – DaVINCI RESOLVE 15 EDITING OVERVIEW/WORKSHOP

A great opportunity for members who are interested in learning about the wonderful new FREE video editing software that offers a variety of tools for professional video editing and colour grading along with a built-in visual effects tool set and robust audio editor.

In order to learn more about this amazing software, make sure that you attend the Movie Maker’s Meeting on Tuesday 2nd July at the School Hall at 7.30 pm. This is not just a Movie Maker Group Meeting, but a Meeting for all members who are interested in video making.

PHOTO GROUP “CAMERA CRAFT WORKSHOP” Tue.18th JUNE 2019

Tuesday June 18th 7.30 pm., at the School Hall… This Workshop is the first of three which is being held in order to address specific issues being experienced by our newer members. The next two will follow on 16th July and 20th August respectively.

This workshop will cover the basic skills required to understand your Camera, thereby covering the various modes, when, how and why they are used, what is best for certain compositions and depth of field.

We will also cover Exposure, Aperture, Shutter Speeds and ISO and how they inter-relate.

Please bring your Camera, fully charged batteries, Camera Manual and an open mind.

The workshop will run for approximately one hour, depending on the Group’s requirements. There will be time for questions and answers.

It would be appreciated if you could please indicate your attendance by way of an email to : secretary@wollongongcameraclub.com

NOTE : This workshop is strictly for Camera Club Members. Visitors are welcome, however a fee of $35.00 would be payable.
