About Us

Wollongong Camera Club meets at 7.30 pm on Tuesdays from February to November.

1st Tuesday of the month: Movie Makers

2nd Tuesday of the month: Photo Group Guest Speakers

4th Tuesday of the month: Photo Competition

Meetings are at Figtree Heights Public School, Cnr St George Ave and Lewis Dr, Figtree*.

The Management Committee meet on Zoom at 7:00pm on the 3rd Monday of the Month.

We also hold monthly Field Trips. See our calendar for more information.

*During COVID lockdowns, meetings are held via Zoom.

CAMERA CRAFT WORKSHOP Tuesday, 20th August, 2019.

Our last Camera Craft Workshop for the Winter Season will be held at the Figtree Heights Primary School Hall on Tuesday 20th August, 2019 at 7.30 pm with a finish hopefully no later than 9.00 pm.

This workshop will cover Camera Care (externally and internally) and Long/Timed Exposure with a practical session and critiquing.

What to Bring :

Camera plus Camera Bag

Fully charged batteries including spares

Spare Cards,

Remote release (essential)

Tripod (essential)

Visitors are welcome, however a Fee of $35.00 will apply.

Final Reminder: All FCC 2019 Interclub Print Entrants

All advised Print Entrants please note:

Your Printed Entry required Tuesday, August 13th 2019.

Please ensure that your entry meets the FCC’s Specifications, that the Entry Label sent to you is attached correctly and is at the Club on Tuesday Night.

These Prints will be packed and sent to FCC on Wednesday August 14th 2019

PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP’S JUNE 2019 NEWSLETTER PUBLISHED

The Photography Group’s July 2019 Monthly Newsletter is now available on the website. It has been a packed month with regular meetings, Camera Craft Skills Workshop and a Social Evening. Include into the mix the FCC 2019 Interclub , Greenacres M2M Challenge that has kept us all on the hop. Our congratulations to Sue Souter LAPS for her first Photographic Honours.
