About Us

Wollongong Camera Club meets at 7.30 pm on Tuesdays from February to November.

1st Tuesday of the month: Movie Makers

2nd Tuesday of the month: Photo Group Guest Speakers

4th Tuesday of the month: Photo Competition

Meetings are at Figtree Heights Public School, Cnr St George Ave and Lewis Dr, Figtree*.

The Management Committee meet on Zoom at 7:00pm on the 3rd Monday of the Month.

We also hold monthly Field Trips. See our calendar for more information.

*During COVID lockdowns, meetings are held via Zoom.

Photography Group’s June Newsletter Published

Its been another busy month with the Photography Group’s meetings being conducted online using Zoom Conferencing/Meeting. Again each meeting has been well supported as we all navigate these Social Distancing times of COVID-19

The Group’s June Newsletter has been publish and is ready for you to access. From Len Metcalf’s inspirational Presentation on “Black and White Photography”, Doug Carley’s critiquing of our June Monthly Competition (Open Prints and Monochrome Open Digital) to the Monthly “Coffee and Chat” morning. Its all been covered, keeping the editorial staff on their toes.

Members are requested to continually checking the Club’s Calendar to review the 2020 Programme and for possible changes due to COVID.

Photo Opportunities – L’Étape Australia by Tour de France

L’Étape Australia by Tour de France is coming to the Illawarra and with it comes a plethora of fantastic photo opportunities.

The event is scheduled for Friday 27th and Saturday, 28th November 2020.

Areas included in the race route are Kiama, Kangaroo Valley, Jamberoo, Berry, Robertson, Fitzroy Falls and more. The race route map (for the Saturday) is available here.

Please note, this is not being organised as a Club outing. Rather, it is being brought to your attention as it may be of interest to you, to go along and do your own thing.
