Pre-Selection for 2019 APS Australian Cup Competition Now Open
The second APS Australian Cup is now open for entries. Wollongong Camera Club is participating in this national inter-club competition and 20 photos will be submitted. To choose our club’s entries we are running a pre-selection competition, open now and closing Friday, May 3rd 2019 at 11:45 pm.
Each member can submit two entries for consideration. The competition will be online scored by a judging panel made up of club members. The top scoring twenty entries will form our club’s entry. The competition is open to all grades and the images can be of any subject (within reason), colour or mono, and do not have to have been entered in a club competition. Images that were part of last years 2018 APS Australian Cup entry are ineligible but this should only be a consideration for members that have transferred from another club or are also members of other clubs. You also may only participate with one club.
So please show us your best images so we can show Australia what our club is capable of! Both the club and individual members have the opportunity to receive APS awards as prizes, and entries can count as national acceptances and awards towards Australian Honors (APS 2019/11).
You will find the “Australian Cup – Preselection” entry form in the “Other competitions or upload opportunities…” area at the very bottom of the Competitions page. It operates the same as a regular club competition (though it doesn’t contribute to your club point score).
