As COVID-19 continues, our Wollongong Area is relatively clear, but not completely. For us this isn’t the time to loose sight of COVID’s impact in the community. Our Management Committee continues to monitor the situation, abide by Government Directions, Social Distancing and liaise with our Presenters and Judges being able to meet with us on Zoom Conferencing.
The Group’s July Newsletter has been publish and is ready for you to access. From Glenn Smith’s “Fungi and Bird Photography” Presentation to the July Monthly Competition has provided us all with something different. At our Presentation Evening with Glenn the Club had 2 Interstate (Victorian) visitors and 1 International visitor from Ottawa, Canada proving how Zoom is capable of reaching more people than we think.
Reminder: Members are reminded that the Closing Date for Image Selection to the Club’s proposed advertising occurs on Sunday, August 2nd, in just 2 days.
Members are requested to continually check with the Club’s Calendar to review the 2020 Programme for any possible changes due to COVID situation.
