An up close and personal encounter with the animals of Mogo Zoo led by professional wildlife photographer June Anderson. Also an opportunity to take our tourism dollars to our South Coast neighbours. There is so much to do in this area. Even if you don’t want to do the Mogo Zoom experience, come along for the weekend.
Saturday 27th 12 noon. The Mogo Zoom experience begins with lunch (included in price). There will be a two-hour presentation on how to shoot wildlife, settings, June’s recommendations etc. Make sure that you have signed on with Kaz.
Around 2.00 pm until 5.00 pm., head out into the Zoo shooting behind the scenes – mostly trekking in areas were the Public do not normally go. This includes interactions with the Rhino and Zebras. There will be access to portholes and fencing that is closer than what the public are allowed to go.
Sunday 28th approx. 0.7.30 – 2.00 pm. Before the Zoo opens, you will be able to see animals in the mist with beautiful soft morning light.
9.00 am, small break for morning tea (included in the price)
Then more animal experiences including going into the Meerkat enclosure.
12 noon finish shooting and have lunch (included).
Then a 1 hour session on using Lightroom (and Photoshop if required). Bring your Laptop.

What is Fine Art Photography?
It can be tricky to put your finger on a fine art photography definition. For instance, there’s often a fine line between commercial photography and photography art. There are also conflicting definitions on how to do fine art photography that make it even harder to nail down what constitutes a fine art photo. But let’s give it a shot.
It Starts With a Vision
One fine art photography definition: fine art photography involves bringing a vision to life. It involves creating something that previously only lived in your mind, as opposed to simply capturing what you see in an artistic way. It’s a way to express your emotions and the way you see the world—and to share it with others.
Tonight we have one of our regular presenters , Mark Kelly, who will give us many examples of before and after an image is taken and presented.
The course is fully booked but a second course is possible. Please contact the Outings Coordinator if you are interested in a second course.
